Pavlo Kovtun is a 35 year’s old Ukrainian commercial director.
He graduated from the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts with a degree in film and television directing. Worked as a director and chief director of a short fiction movies on Kyiv’s television for about 2 years. After that, he moved into advertising and unleashed his unique talent for telling vivid, emotional stories in a visually impactful package. 7 years of experience as a commercial director in Ukraine crystallised his specialization in such categories as kids, narrative, emotional stories, ironic absurd humor. But the «vignette»,cinematic lifestyle, documentary stories, is also close to him. He used to work on different markets – Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia. Brands: McDonald’s, Heineken, Nestle, Danone, Lactel, Nar, Bakcell, Oriflame and many others on local Ukrainian market. His passion is to bring the sincerity, deep insights and authenticity of what is depicted into the world of commercials, giving people the understanding that advertising can be healing, useful, revealing and not always a deception and exaggeration.
